I can't load system map for any other system right now, is this to do with the server update?

I can view the system map for the system I'm currently in fine, but if I go to galaxy map and try to view another systems system map, it just hangs, I have to hit Esc to bring me out of it.

Micro stuttering has been completely fixed with 1.3 for me. Looks like the source was remedied by the change to shader compiling/caching.

Super high integrity repair bills existed for me for the 1st day of 1.3's release. (2.7 mil when down to 97% integrity). After ignoring it and trading between the same stations and checking again it was back to a normal couple hundred thousand credits. Perhaps those experiencing high integrity fixes need to build up some history with the station/system even if you had been before 1.3.

Wish I could say the same. Just got a disco coming out of hyper-drive, and now my Commander Data cannot be retrieved...

Perhaps he does not wish to be retrieved!

Sorry, I shouldn't be so flippant.

For me it's the worst I've had it. 1.2 was fine (for me). Would be interesting to see the hardware stats on good/bad performance, ie if users of one manufacturer have benefited at the expense of users of another, or not... Speculation/clutching at straws I guess.

Yeah I was wondering if it was just me. I heard that other people had better performance, but mine has gotten worse.

There's MUCH more to fix after the debacle over the weekend...what about the unresponsive maps: especially the locking "Updating System Info" when opening the system page. Many reports of this. At least acknowledge the need for fixes...PLEASE!

I was getting that a lot, but Escape to Menu, Resume gets you straight back into cockpit.

i hoped the server update would resolve the problems with scan failings constantly, but i guess according to the update log, if you don't have sufficient hardware to scale with the demand, preventing the server to crash when under heavy stress is good to avoid disconnects, but still won't prevent a lot of client requests failing, so maybe you should either buy the needed hardware or go with the full offline mode if you unable to provide a correct online experience.

2 days of 8k routes is enough.

Boo hoo.
You forum daddies are the worst.
NO other profession in the game is even worth a damn at this point.
It's like you people are blind at how grindy this game is, and people are fed up with it. There are much more important balances that need to happen, instead of repeatedly nerfing the lucrative option.
Not everyone wants to be stuck in a viper like you for the next 10 years.

They already fixed that server side without need of a restart, e.g. python integrity cost is back to around 100k per 1%

Ye gods, I hope you're right. I had to park mine over the weekend after doing some long distance running between systems. The maintenance bill would have given Warren Buffet a stroke. :D

Wish I could say the same. Just got a disco coming out of hyper-drive, and now my Commander Data cannot be retrieved.

Starting to lose my patience now.

Bad form to quote oneself but credit where it's due; many thanks to CMDR Vega, I'm now back where I was (and not back in The Bubble) and back in business.

150k for 1% seems reasonable to you? somethings clearly wrong with you thats redicolous 53% for me 15 mil wich is more than the rebuy either you dont know what youre talking about or youre a masochist

You realize that I integrity barely means anything right? It's not the same as repairs. If your integrity is completely worn out, you basically have 70% hull strength.

People are losing their minds over something You can quite safely ignore all together.

Sunday night I put in a ticket for the loss of credits due to the high cost of repairs bug. I was given back the credits I lost flying my Python. Last night I flew after reading it had been fixed. Mine had dropped considerably. From 289,000 to 156,000 for 2% hull integrity loss. Today when I got the email returning my credits the guy said it would be fixed today in a patch???? Very confused, was it fixed Saturday night or is there a patch inbound????

I'm really sorry to post this here but from a game point of view I am at my wits end with this issue. I'm only posting in the hope someone can help me :(

I can not avoid interdiction ever. The very act of being interdicted sends my ship into an unrecoverable spin (see image)

http://i.imgur.com/EaNOAbg.jpg

The above is a screen shot I managed to get about 0.5 seconds after interdiction notification. As you can see the ship that is interdicting me is up and to my right and I cam going backwards whilst in supercruise, which is something I am not even sure is possible?

The next frame which I failed to screen grab showed the hostile red ship in front of me within my cross hairs.

I have a ticket on this, a bug thread on it and have had no actual response and its driving me up the wall because it makes no difference what ship I am in and I cant even submit because it all happens so fast I receive FSD damage before the submit happens (I guess this is because I cant follow the escape vector at all).

If its not fixable then I'll just have to accept that interdiction = damage

I have seen some similar things with this just before actually. I was interdicting some people in my Fer-De-Lance and Python yesterday, and no one ever submitted which seemed strange in itself to me. I did this after being interdicted by the same group wing of players at a certain station bringing in federal aid about 4 or 5 times in a row. I was in an Anaconda, so I was able to submit (perhaps this is related to the differential ship size now, I remember seeing a post by the AI developer saying that they were looking at changing something that will make it more difficult to evade an interdiction) at least a few times. A few times though submitting failed like you said. So what I am doing now is when I can see someone line up behind me, I slow down and prepare for the interdiction so I can submit instantly, or I just slow down and drop out of supercrusie, and wait for them to follow me in through my wake, but usually this doesn't happen.
.
I am also seeing players pack around stations a lot now, this seems to prevent you from jumping to the next system from a station and puts you in supercruise by the station instead. I think this may have been like this already (not sure though) but it seems to be working more often now. Perhaps this too was changed?

They appear to be already fixed for me. 1% integrity on my Anaconda was about 1 million when 1.3 initially was released, and the wear and tear rate was very fast. I am now only paying about 150K per 1% on my Anaconda, which seems a good and logical price to me.

Ahh crap, i had 12% hull integrity and cost me 2.5 Mil....am i going to be compensated for that?

It's acknowledged on the bug forums, I checked less than an hour ago. Don't worry, if other major updates serve as a reference, there's gonna be 4 or 5 updates this week, the map issue will probably be included in one of them.

Anarch157a: thanks CMDR for that info, there are just sooo many threads to check out that I missed that one in my haste to get back onto the game after being unable to over the weekend for one buggy reason after another.. So Thanks again for that heads-up!

I was getting that a lot, but Escape to Menu, Resume gets you straight back into cockpit.

Cheers for the work-around on the System Map not opening on updating bug; but I was bemoaning the dev's or moderators blithely chatting on about what fixes they've achieved (thanks for the hard work guys & gals) but NOT even acknowledging they do have specific bugs to sort for us all! Surely they can prep a Moderator to act as a conduit for the soothing balm of up-to-date. accurate, and focussed information that RESPONDS to posted woes.
