Hauling in T6 and powerplay

This not a complain but I wonder of this intend to be

Hauling in a T6 is not possible any more when you do powerplay.
lost of 1 million with goods and insurance
well if this would happen onetime in a hour but this already happend 5 times in a hour of playing

every time I arrive home 3 times I'm interdicted by elite NPC just before i want to go in supercruise on 1000km they shoot me down within a minut while I'm have maximal protection what is possible on this ship.
even runaway is not possible because they shoot mine FSD down

edit : mine play style with hauling is not that I grind for the most profit on a hr rate like some do, with this you are forced to grind, grind grind

Yep, signing up with a power kills running a true hauler these days for me. Last night I was interdicted three times just as I was approaching my station. Every time a different power.

Fortunately I was in a courier and all three of the Enemy ships were destroyed. Shame THOSE don't give you merits.

Amen to that... powerplay is voluntary work, I may need a day job to support it!

Getting a wing together for hauling seems a massive waste of effort. To me, wings are primarily for combat - being in a wing for space trucking is bonkers.

Sooooo, you thought joining up with someone who is effectively at war with someone else and then running around in a non-combat vessel without friends to escort you would be a good idea?

Pretty much what B1rdy said. You'll either be in a wing with other haulers which just makes you an even more delicious prospect, or you've got a couple of very bored escorts who would be probably rather be doing just about anything else.

Agreed. As a trader in my T-7, aligned to a power, I was being interdicted way too often. I left the power I was associated with and things went back to normal (normal amount of interdictions). I would not be surprised if the "power aligned to" and the "system trading in" has alot to do with it.

Please don't think that because one has not signed up to a faction that one won't be interdicted. I was three times in last evening's play session, each time within moments of exiting super-cruise at my destination, and I wasn't even flying a transport let alone carrying cargo.

Can you not just submit, boost and then supercruise away?
Have you ever tried using FSD with an Anaconda at your back? Boosting in a T7 will get you to 200 something, what will you outrun with that speed?;)

I brought this up before, or something similar to it. If you're a trader you're pretty much consolidated to your own control territories which generally do not possess good trading routes. You'll be on 1k Cr per ton in most controlled territories which is pitiful by any standards. Mahon just so happens to have some of the worst trading loops in the game as far as I can tell which is ridiculous considering he is a trading power.

The way PP seems to be designed is you have to trade between powers to maximise profit but you can't do that if you're every other power's enemy especially if you're Alliance which only has one power to represent it(Unless Alliance is neutral to all other powers?). It's not rewarding or even feasible for Traders to join a power as is. I did manage to find an independent controller system just outside of my power but it looks like it's being prepped so long to that, right? If that becomes the case i'm going to drop from Power Play altogether as a Trader. It simply is not worth it.

I'd really like to hear from FD on how we're expected to play in PP like this.

I have a T7. I have always been able to get into supercruise before my shields are out. Maybe I have just been lucky.

Edit - I have only just joined a power though and haven't experienced this yet.

Some advice for anyone aligned to a power who wants to avoid getting interdicted while hauling:

1. Don't fly in a straight line to the station. They have to be behind you to interdict and changing direction confuses even elite NPCs. Just don't expect this to fool players.
3. Use emergency stops if they are behind you and there is no other way to avoid them.
5. If all else fails avoid control systems unless you have to go there to do pp stuff. From what I've seen the power NPCs only exist in control systems.

I don't know why you are all crying I was halling in a T-6 last night with no problems and making 2500+ a ton. I just made sure I looked at the run before I started. I feel 1.3 is a great move for elite you have to work a little harder but that's what the game needed. I don't feel sorry for any of the cry baby's who think that 1.3 broke that game they are just lazy and want to play a game that everything is just handed to them. what I say to that type of gamer is not to play any mmo's just play console games that hold your hand the hole way though the game.
