You really thought you'd get that 5m this week. Obviously you have to attain the rating before you receive its payment. And you cant attain the 4 rating until its cycled.
It is Thursday in the UK, which is where the game is. I think.
I hadn't heard that it was thursday to thursday, though, or I would have planned this week MUCH differently.
If that's the case the Friday release for a 6 day week seems a bit of a jerk move.

Yea, so what? Not unlikely that you'd get it for what you achieved in the past cycle and prior to the next one. Besides, that was already explained and i don't care if it is as i thought or as it obviously is. Expectations didn't match reality, no big deal.
Ok, my question about how to nominate systems for preparation seems to have been merged with the PP week over thread...
There are now systems nominated in the Mahon page, so clearly somebody can do this. What am I missing? How do I nominate a new system to be prepared? I can't see how to do it on the preparation page, nor find a button on the system map.

As I said I could have imagined it... which would have been more fool me when I logged off last night at 23.59 thinking it was done! No, I think it was in beta when they said it would run Thursday to Thursday. I could well be wrong, or I might be right and its a communication failure. It's certainly not in the release PDF.
Just checked, all working fine, just a day early.

Why are my merits at full? I have 5k merits because I earned 5k 'last week'. (notwithstanding the 2.1k un-cashed I lost entirely) Shouldn't I have 2.5k merits?
Not that I'm complaining that I didn't lose even MORE merits but I think this means something's afoot.

Not for me, most of it - yes. But to me the question regarding preperations systems not taken over to expansion for no obvious reasons remains.
@Dbrn47: Have seen your attempt to give an explanation (thanks for that). Can't argue against that lore point, but if thats really the case i am out of PP. Either players have the power to decide where the journey goes or not.

Im not bothered by the merits or reward since I just see it as a little extra to do when your bored doing your regular thing. The thing that is bugging me is how A. Lavigny Duval managed to expand control into systems that Aisling Duval had been Moving preparation in all week? Last night when I was checking progress Yakun (either Yakun or Yukan) had more than 10 times the preparation points in the standings for it, I must be missing something... Power play seems overly complicated to begin with but now the stats don't even add up to what is expected to happen its more like just do whatever and don't bother thinking about your actions since it doesn't matter anyway, now I have about 15 to 20 systems all trying to kill me because I wanted to join in the fun with power play, now im kinda segregated to staying in Aisling Duvals space since leaving for another factions space result in being attacked.. Current power play system X+Y=Z Nobody knows what X is, Y is at the pub and Z is doing whatever the hell it wants to do, I hope things get sorted out so we can enjoy this new and quiet interesting mechanic.. I don't even mind that because of power play im wanted with atleast a 10k bounty in about 30 different systems.
Howcome people can rank that high up at all, wasnt one of the requirements for rank 3 that you play at least 4 weeks with your chosen power??
