Looks like it could be fun.
I guess one question is how does it relate to 'the real galaxy'? If you're on a massive exploration ramble throughout the galaxy can you just load up CQC to muck about, or do you have to travel to a particular system to take part?

Also Condor as a flyable ship!

Well I guess that was the big ED news we were expecting at E3... I won't hold my breath for anything related to the first paid expansion, though I would be happy to be proven wrong.

And it is. That doesn't mean that everything must absolutely be out first on the PC.

Anyway, you're a couple of months' late for this. The main rage took place when the announcement was first made.

Good luck with that, Frontier still have yet to officially announce The Outsider has been cancelled ... and no, a game review article online doesn't count.

I am not raging just sad... and very scared for the future , what if in 3yrs time they dont add any new graphics? what if they dont add the DX12 effects? what if one day they stop HOTAS suport for simple controller

Happy for the XBone to have its exclusive, as long as it turns up on PC eventually. And if CQC allows you to try out ships and load-outs before you buy in the main game I'm definitely all for it. Had a lot of fun with 'Credits and Ethics' (or was it 'Ethics and Credits'?) in the Alpha. :)

It isn't fair though.

Xbox gamers aren't going to notice a new feature, because they haven't played the game yet-- it'll just be part of the main release. Yet PC gamers who have been waiting months for various types of content are pointlessly forced to wait, probably months.

So how exactly is this a sense PR move by gating the PC version of CQC?

The ONLY effect this will have is to sour PC gamers, as it shows you would rather inconvenience your main core just for the sake of some silly advertising gimmick.
