Looks very nice - i really, really hope it comes with spectator mode like in Guildwars. I might not be a PVP'er myself, but damn sure i would love to watch matches at times.

That'd be nice, watch a bit and maybe even pick up a tip or two.

Yeah, Close Quarter Combat was the first thing that came to mind.

Just something I noticed. When a few months back people found hints of an arena mode, there was a big storm of protest. "Arena mode is for stupid-console-pew-pew-kiddies. Us beta backers don't want arena, not even for free, and if we do we will never touch it!"

Fast forward to today, and a new storm is blowing around us: "we love the idea of arena mode, we should play it before the console folks get to it!"

If FD would have listened to you guys there would not have been an CGC at all, so I (and I'm pretty sure tons of others) are perfectly fine with them ignoring you for this.

The difference was we didn't want fd wasting their time on an add-on arena style combat when they could dedicate the time in to making the current game better and then importing it to xbox. Where's all the stuff from the DDF we've been crying out for for the past year?

Right now we want the add on because of the sheer lack of content in the game for current pvp players let alone the pve players.

If an Xbone time limited exclusive for the combat PvP meant Microsoft dropped a load of cash on Frontier and that cash goes in to further developing the game then I say let them have it.

It's daft.
Currently I spend more time on here than in the game as I cannot be bothered playing it, if the CQC was in the game now I'd probably be playing it, but no, gotta wait X months while Microsoft get their pound of flesh. As if hacking off portions of games and holding them hostage on a platforum is any way shape or form a good things for the consumer. It's good for the platform holders and the developer. That's it. To argue otherwise is weird.
