Well look at it this way. KS and (premium) beta backer were told they would have access to beta versions of ED before the regular commanders. To me this seems to be no longer true. I personally get a nasty taste in my mouth when I read about this. Ah well, its all about money.....

They called it 'Close Quarter Combat'..it looks like there might be some racing to it (first one to certain markers gets sheilds) but no...no SC racetracks.

tournaments are a good idea. people need recreation and space races / gladiator rings / etc. These are all things one can imagine existing and should be quite fun in between the heavy politics surrounding the galaxy.

They should be seamlessly added to the current game as special purpose stations (and surrounding space). Participation should share a lot of the UI surrounding powers ... More content is good.

Yay, e-sports is the death of any game, as it becomes a sweary tweenage exploitfest almost overnight. Time to find a new game, if so.

Does that mean you intend to continue with the PC as the primary development platform(i.e new features will be beta tested on PC), there will be simultaneous development on PC and consoles/new platforms(new features appear on both at the same time for testing and release), there will be some kind of asynchronous development(where some features are tested/released on Pc first and others on other platforms) or the consoles will become the primary dev platform?

if the M$ update procedure is anything like what it was with the 360, updates for the XBone will probably lag behind the PC version. It wouldn't surprise me if the console ultimately got the next update after PC does.

There are new features and content coming that will be released on PC and Mac first. PC remains the lead platform for development, in this instance CQC fit the Xbox One release.

No, it's more likely to hit PC and Mac first as they are the lead development platform. It depends on the content though.

Personally I think the console launch is good for the game and the company, buy as an alpha backer I feel completely ripped off that if I want to play a game I helped fund and already own one the Xbox one then I have to buy it again.

I'd love to see people having to travel to them and the ability to place bets on who will win, make it a sports league for pity's sake, plus have wing modes too, it would add massively to the feeling of a living galaxy if we ended up with a proper league and well known teams

You're playing it. It might not align to your expectations...but the dev team has checked almost every promised box...except for a paid expansion. Many of the promises might be a little more superficial and shallower than expected...but they are there!

We have an unfinished game, and X-bone gets a damned combat arena!?

This is what FD's resources have gone to, instead of improving the actual game!?

Someone, please, help me, right now I'm feeling horrible that I pledged to this company. Tell me I'm wrong in some way, shape, or form.

EDIT: I got very mad very quickly, and I apologize, and I realize FD could benefit fro mthis, but I have a personal bias against Microsoft and X-bone and hate it with a passion, so I may have forgot my senses
