Please don't take this the wrong way: I am impatient, yes, but perfectly willing to wait for a polished product rather than a rushed one, however:
One can't really say "ringing in the new year with a bang!" while we are sliding into the third week of January without so much as a peep.
At this point, it's more like:

But seriously, due to the way the days fell this year, did anyone expect any work before this week? And then it takes a few days to ramp back up.
This was to me at least, who works on projects constantly, totally expected.

David Braben has had extremely bad luck with games getting rushed (lawsuits ect). So I don't think he'll be rushing at all.

Sorry, are "Private Backer Forums" for all backers or just select few who had more cash to spare than others?
