Just a thought really. After reading about the complete bell that is over in LHS 3447 and Eravate ganking noobs for "the good of the game".
obviously this is to the detriment of the game as any sain CMDR would agree. Now I can't see fdev dropping everything to work on system security, in fact we have been asking for this since 3300.
To me an obvious easy solution for the devs would be to make those few systems permit only. How this would work exactly I'm not sure. That's why I'm posting this
my first thoughts are..
-new commanders have a permit until they leave a certain "bubble".
-commanders with a ship in the bubble keep there permit
-an established commander can only gain a permit from the pilot federation if...? And that is where it all falls down. I'm sure there are loads of solutions but I'm typing this sitting in traffic so I'll leave this here for ideas and check back when I get home.
Please se don't turn the thread into a thread about phycos or crime and punishment. Let's see if the community can flesh this idea out as a possible easy solution for the devs withought re writing the security script as we know that's not happening any time soon.
your thoughts please CMDR's.
