Best place for PvP combat ??

Where is the best place for PvP combat ?

Having played ED from day one, my NPC combat rating is Deadly but I have never been in combat with another CMDR, as the few I have come across are nearly all Traders.

I'm currently near Liaedin and flying a Cobra.

Try Kamadenhu, get's kinda busy there this time of day, might want to take a friend with you :)

Go to Ngaliba (right next to Eravate). There are conflict zones there, and lots of players in the conflict zones. Enter conflict zone, see what side the nearest CMDR is on, join the other side, attack.

Im mostly just cruising around , pp systems for example. ofcourse in conflict zones , but it is more fun in my opinion to pull somebody from supercruise and kill them then(or be killed ofcourse, tnx commanders with traps!)

Same problem, hard to find someone to duel with since 1.3.
It's really hard to waste many hrs searching systems, avoiding wings, only to find someone and you're shattered from searching.
Can't wait for CQC.

We could do with a system where we can always go/hang out and wait/meet up for 1 v 1's.
It's not unusual for gamers in other open games to have a meet up spot on a map for duels.

I am on the way from dangerous to deadly, also no experience with pvp but would like to be able to engage other players without some of the current drawbacks, such as ganking, wings, double chaff.

I wonder if there is a private group for 1 on 1 pvp with some ground rules and a few marked locations where people can meet up.
If there isn't one, maybe it's time to create it. We could even have different locations, each with their specific rules (such as not to use double chaff, no more than 1 SCB, etc.)

Thanks for the tip to go to Eravate, found a 'wanted' CMDR and dispatched him, my first CMDR kill - felt good :) sorry if it was you, still have morals

Likely places where there are lots of players. The Lave hub, Eravate and surrounding systems, HQs of the various PP Powers, and controlled systems.

The question doesn't even make sense to me.

It's a bit like asking:

"Why are you doing PvP in Rust/DayZ/(any other "open world game" with PvP elements) when you can go and play CoD?"
