Well guys. it takes only a few nukes to wipe out a country.
You must live in Bermuda lol...
Nukes today are far less powerful than what they were 20 years ago. They are more precise though.

I don't like to contribute to the paranoia, but I must admit this article is a bit scary.
Russia modernizes 70% of its armaments until 2020. The Russian military budget now represents 21% of total Russian budget. Moscow plans to spend more than 331 billion euros until 2020. Russia getting ready, in the longer term, to a total war for the resources. The Russian General Staff has predicted for after 2025. The Kremlin is convinced that the Russia will be attacked from all sides, including the nuclear weapon, thus the need to prepare.
But the US can afford it, because they have no national debt at all.
Such irony should really come with a smiley attached: http://www.usdebtclock.org/
Barack Obama praises Putin for help clinching Iran deal
The unexpected consequence of the talks - an “opening” for further detente in the worst crisis in American-Russian relations since the Cold War
Speaking to the New York Times Mr Obama said Mr Putin’s cooperation had “surprised” him, and that he was hopeful of an “opening” for further detente in otherwise fraught relationship between the two powers.
“Russia was a help on this. I’ll be honest with you. I was not sure given the strong differences we are having with Russia right now around Ukraine, whether this would sustain itself. Putin and the Russian government compartmentalised on this in a way that surprised me,” he told the paper.
“We would have not achieved this agreement had it not been for Russia’s willingness to stick with us and the other P5-Plus members in insisting on a strong deal.”
The policy is very compartmentalized. As for the Iran, the agreement on the nuclear does not mean that the United States, are not the " Big Satan "
I think the classic translation is "the Great Satan". Anyway, Iranians really like Americans and American culture. The ruling priesthood is another matter, but they won't be in power forever. The sanctions and international isolation have kept them in power for this long.
That's probably true enough - really nice people, Iranians. I recall a very hot disco in Tehran - rocking, it was.Anyway, Iranians really like Americans and American culture.

Before the revolution, of course - but I suspect that stuff carries-on even now, only under the radar.

Know Iran well, do you, jo?I can assure you it carries on more often than you might think. Generally, most people in Iran are quite tolerant of most things.
The nuclear agreement with major powers will not change Iran's policy against the "arrogant American government" or its support to its "friends" in the region, said on Saturday the Supreme Leader of the Iran, the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, whose the remarks were welcomed by traditional "death to America" and "death to Israel."

Recent reports from the US seem to suggest the Republicans are obstructing. I wonder to what extent they are doing so for ideological reasons or simply to oppose?
