SJA is/has been active on our G+ ED community in recent weeks.
She posted on the 20th that she was changing role and would be communicating less.

I'm not following the Chicken Little "The Sky Is Falling!" brigade. As far as I'm concerned, SJA has been reassigned within FDev which means she's either bringing her coding skills to another part of ED, or she's working on something different in-house.
Either way, she'll still do a sterling job on whatever it is. People seem to be quick to jump on the negative, but unable to see a positive. SJA will still be contributing, we just won't be as aware of her contribution actually is.

So Doctor, please explain to me why her post was deleted, and moreover why she was clearly not happy with the decision? If she was "move" to greener pastures she would probably not have used that specific wording. So something is going on, and it ain't something good. If it is FD could easily put it to rest by letting her write a few lines. Everyone know that you need to stop the cattle BEFORE they stampede.

Most unabashedly negative comments can be taken with a pinch of salt, but the general consensus of the people who worked there seems to be that the upper management has absolutely no idea what they're doing, and are dishonest or silent in their general dealings as much as they can get away with. Something reaffirmed countless times with their interactions with the community so far. Call that normal corporate life if you wish, but keep that in mind next time they say "trust us, we got this"

In one of her twitters she said she will return (her persona) meaning that she will go back to working on the AI. so that gives me hope (maybe she working on making the AI understand how to fly on planets...

You know just half , or even just small tweaks is all I need just to make the AI that much smarter (like land one or two hits on me)

A long shot but at work I do get told off for being too optimisitc and promising large things...
maybe they saw that her project had to go on the back burner for a while and asked her to tone it down... or maybe its tin foil hat time
