Changing the pp cycle mechanics mid cycle is simply wrong, do it Thursday along with the cycle change over!

A small backlash from the 20% who PowerPlay.
Here's the first of the backlash, and it's unrelated to PP.
I was fighting in a civil war for a certain system, it had been going on for one day, it ticked over to the second day, influence percentages changed as expected, war still raging and I'm still fighting. An hour later FDEV decide to take down the servers for this update. After the update I log back into the game and the system is no longer in civil war. Nice hey.....

At the start of the first day we were down by 1.1%, when it ticked over to the second day we were in the lead by 1.3% (so it was heading to a system flip, but I know the enemy are fighting there as well so it was going to be close). However since this "patch" the civil war is no longer raging and no stations or systems were flipped.

Absolutely not. Everyone is involved is PP and PP only. Nothing else.
This server side update is also EVERYTHING they have been doing since the last update.
