So do I need to use two colons now? E: D: H? Elite: Dangerous: Horizons? :p

Also, now I should finally stop reading news for this game. I kind of want the universe to feel unknown when I finally buy it. But can I resist spoiling it all? We'll see...

Slight concern... There's no suggestion in that article that you'll be going down to the surface to simply enjoy the spectacle (eg: a lovely waterfall). It implies the entire purpose is to play more mini-games? Hunt the mining opportunity. Fight for the base etc.

Any mother nature at all either? Water? Seas? Rain? Plants?

If Horizons means to land, mine and new pew pew, I suspect some explorers will feel they're missing out?

Also, if being pessimistic reading this from the community site:

"We're beginning with airless, rocky worlds – places where a great deal of new gameplay can take place. These are planet-sized sandbox environments, with all sorts of things to discover hidden on them. You'll find surface starports, crashed ships, mineral deposits, hidden bases and more. "

No mention transitioning form space tot he planet. Almost sounds like a separate environment from the main galaxy.

He does mention that airborne ships would find it hard to get a lock on the SRV's and that you would need to watch the skies if you are in one, so possibly not.

I would imagine it being like coming out of supercruise, but who knows.

Yes definitely able to fly in the atmosphere but nothing about getting into and out of the atmosphere. I am sure I am just being paranoid tho so carry on everyone. I do think it sounds amazing regardless ;)

E:D:H
E: D: H

E: D:H

2 Colons but only one Space.

The detail on games radar is way more impresive than what i was expecting.

This serious gives star citizen and NMS a big run for there money and out much much sooner.

So very well done FD.

Well, Im sure there will be plenty that people wont like about it, we will have to wait and see.

Perhaps they will show some of it on the stream later?
