How and when do you recieve the Cobra?
Can anyone confirm that the Lifetime pass will include Horizons, or will the need to be two separate purchase? I always hold-back on pre-purchasing until I know for certain what I'm getting, but a Lifetime Pass is too good to miss.
One other thing, the game has no character slots so I (happily) bought a 2nd account inorder to create a character slot. Will there be a way of linking both of my 'characters' to one main account* so I don't have to buy twice, or will FD be introducing actual character slots?
Finally, add me to the +1 group, this news managed to cut through my hangover
*Only one playable at a time, as with Spotify.

It does mention "unlock" - maybe, like the Imperial Clipper, the ship is not available to just anyone who enters the shipyard but requires a permit / rank to be able to be purchased. As long as the permit is able to be earned in-game in some way then that would seem to be fair enough to me.

You can't do 2nd tier NPCs only in expansion, can you? It's fundamental addition and it just makes sense everyone gets it. But I agree, that text alone made me to ask that question.
So you can buy into the Beta. What does this mean for people already with the lifetime pass ? I went through the store procedure and it is only giving me the loyalty pass. Surely it should be free to people with a lifetime pass already !
I phone BT every 12 months and ask for a MAC code. They then put me through to the retentions department where they give me the new customer rate or better to keep my business. Been doing this for over 10 years now.
It's not mentioned in the official announcement is it? I didn't see it anyway. Crafting, if it's anything like other MMOs will be a big steaming pile of misfit in the ED galaxy. It can be done in better ways, but they seem to be moving towards following tired old paths (deathmatch, CTF) so I'm cautiously pessimistic about that one!
I think less is more in this case. I always through it would be nice if while out in the black you could mine and then use specific metals or minerals to make replacement parts or replicate parts to Repair damaged hull, canopies or engines, or replenish ammo etc. You will need a replicator in one slot, a small refinery, and a mining laser (or just a replicator and salvage materials from wrecks) . Feed the replicator the raw materials needed and make what you need. And to repair/replace certain things you need to land somewhere
Gives more reason to explore and mine as you will need to find specific materials, or salvage from wrecks (that you may have created) etc.

Many of you have asked for it--Cobra Mk. IV.
And if you're here now to have asked for it, and you get Horizons, you get it.
Don't make me laugh....... The "Lifetime Expansion Pass" was meant to be "buy now, before xx/yy/zzz because it will be gone FOREVER" and they just resurrected it (at a higher fee), expect the Cobra MkIV to be GA sooner or later. "Forever" is just an FD term for "until we find it convenient" and is pure Marketing speak IMHO.
I think it does. It doesn't say "Planetary Landings: Airless worlds" does it?
