Wow, most of you guys were right - planetary landings, oh boy I'm excited. Also - vehicles!!!! There was a buggy in this teaser!
Absolutely not disappointed here. \o/

There's no rush.
EDIT: Well, there is and that's why you can't buy it RIGHT NAOW!!!!
I mean, you don't need to worry, if you wait until later or even tomorrow you'll still be able to buy it.
So I bought the game for £40 (plus £15 beta which I won't count) I now have to pay £30 (after 25% discount) and get access to the full game for £70
If I had never backed this game from day one I pay £40 for Horizons and get the full game?
Not sure how I should take that to be honest or am I reading that wrong?

What do you mean nothing to do with elite?
How do you know on board ship movement isn't included?
This is a good point. I didn't get the £5 discount for the XBox version as I don't have an XBox, and I doubt I'll get the £10 discount for expansion as I am getting it (for "free") anyway.Does the coupon apply to the skins? As I already have the life time expansions pack it would be nice to get a few more skins for my fleet.
Yes and after the first few times you will realise that that is all you will find. It will equate to the same meaningless mundane tasks dictated by the bulletin board over and over with zero depth.
How easily people fall for trailers. Do you not remember the development diaries? How they inspired your imagination? All that stuff is here in the game already but none of it like you imagined it to be.
What does that tell you?
ED does not need more mundane tasks or planertary landings. What it needs is meaningful storyline that the community can steer by mass involvement. Until then, all you have is repetition over and over again for no purpose until you can't take anymore.
Well, it is not, really. Ground gameplay has nothing, and I mean nothing, to do with Elite. Yeah I know, it probably be funny, but still, has nothing to do. Planetary Landings are another story, and I like them , just because it will be like FE2 landing on Sirocco Station or New London... But all the time spent in physics calculations for ground movement of vehicles, well, can't say I'm happy, if I've to be honest. I'd rather prefer to have passenger cabins on my ship, but it's only an opinion.
careful....there was a pilot walking to his ship in the ED launch trailer too.
