Lifetime pass discussion thread.

I'm in a similar boat.

I would be content if my current commander got the expansion and I got an extra account to mess around with.
However, I really just want to get the lifetime expansion on my current account and not another account. I have no good reason to have two accounts.
Is this a possibility?

Have to admit I would have prefered a bigger discount since I had already purchased the original beta for 50 quid. Still 120 quid for thousands of hours worth of entertainment.. 120 quid is an average night out in London.

Also comparing it to the flightsim community, 120 quid wouldn't even buy you the high res satellite mesh for Earth, you are looking at a few thousand for high end software including addons...

My thoughts exactly. You can bet in a years time, people will be complaining that they can't buy the Lifetime Expansion Pass....... Its a win win, lose lose scenario depending on how you look at it

I was a beta backer (pledged £37) does this make be a premium beta or standard beta?

What discount should I get on the lifetime pass?

I'm only seeing the £10 before I place the order

I joined just before Premium Beta launched and (for me) I got my £100 worth in that phase of development no shadow of a doubt. In fact, just back from Venice (big anniversary treat for Ye Olde Housedragon) where I spent more than that over 30 minutes in Harry's Bar it was a proper bargain. Getting these paid expansions for free as well makes me think I will buy another copy for a friend to keep the ball rolling.

Yeah...the discount is the same no matter which version you get...EDH retail, EDH Retail + Beta, and LEP.

Read it this way....here is £10 off of your original purchase of ED. Which is a worse deal than new customers buying EDH now (though they have to wait until the release of EDH)

I bought the game during standard beta. I now really want the lifetime expansion but have no use for another commander.

I petition that they add an option for people who already have a commander and just want to upgrade it to lifetime expansion.

You get a tenner off the price of the Life Time Pass if you already have Elite. I just bought it with the discount - yes it was cheaper earlier, but i missed out.

I bought standard beta for £50 with the lifetime expansion pass for a further £35, total £85. This was July last year.
