Ok that is going too far, My intent for this thread was a realistic discussion about adding APES, DINOS AND MAYBE PINK SPACE PONIES into the game.

Given the OP's avatar pic .. I'm a bit surpised no "giant tentacled sea beasts" mentioned, so far.

So, giant tentacled sea beasts please and, you're right .. ANTS are highly underrated and WILL HAVE their day!

But if ED stick to their current variety in content philosophy we will get 1000 slightly different types of dear and maybe dogs.

So I hope they are more ambitious and go for better procedural generated variety when it comes to life forms.

Some of the beasts that existed on Earth BETWEEN the more famous epochs (Cretaceous, Ice Age) but usually only noticed on a mass extinction can throw out quite a few, and more than these ..


DRAGON .. not quite a dinosaur but still a "terrible lizard"!


The aptly named Terror Bird .. just killed a donkey!


ANTS! .. they're not called "creepy" crawlies for nothing.


And they're not all killers .. Icotherium (are related to Rhinos)




This doesn't even get into theoretical creatures based on Silicon, or (on cold cold cold planets) with a Nitrogen DNA structure??
