Mine used to look like it was having some form of seizure every now and then. Knowing my flying it was probably shaking in fear
I would love to have the little guy back and hopefully FD will realise things like this would be excellent additions to the shop.

I genuinely think they could make it a small cashcow.
like they do with paint schemes only these are cheaper, make extra things too so everyone can personalise their cockpits a little.

Well, I for one would love to see the return of the Bobble-Head (your plastic pal whose fun to be with!) and perhaps we can add some more options, which as you suggested can be AWARDED perhaps as gifts in game to pilots for achievements (along with a nice RIGHT ON COMMANDER! message) and then added to the console on the outfitting screen. I honestly do not know how they could implement 'bumper stickers' but a few ideas come to mind:

I am still waiting for my customizable stardust; since what we have now is much lesser than what we have in Beta, and it was removed because someone thought that the star dust amount was too much and was giving issues to the performances.
I was told there will be an option to customize it; still waiting for it. Probably the dash gadgets will appear again one day, we will see

Please bring back the bobble head. Even if it's a store item for purchase. I miss the bibbly-bobbly times we used to have.

Bobble head and laser colors and more.
So I was thinking why not bobble heads in your cockpit like beta for 5$ on the store and laser colors too. I personally would love a bobble head sitting on my desk as well as in my cockpit whilst blastin my blue laser and any federal scum that passes ;p.

Just saw another thread about these little guys, and felt compelled enough to revive an old thread.
I really miss my little bobblehead, and would really love to have the option of having one again! I remember they disappeared around release. Some speculated it was because of performance issues. I couldn't find a thread where the devs had responded.
I think having them as a reward for some of the missions, or at least offering a few on the store were great ideas.
What does everyone else think about these being back in the game and maybe tweaked if they were causing performance issues?

There were no performance issues. You could turn them off in the menu, and if you can get rid of them, then it's not an issue, it's just another graphics setting.
Frontier is really missing out. Different touristy stations could sell different bobbleheads, Frontier could sell special editions in the DLC shop, etc...
I imagine the assets are still in the game. Any enterprising modders out there willing to open up that can of worms and see if it's possible to mod them back in?
I'd love to see these in the shop, I'd buy one and I'm sure plenty of people would. I agree FD is missing a huge money making opportunity with it's lack of customisation. Bobbleheads and other cockpit paraphernalia, pilot outfits, HUD variations, better selection of ship paint jobs (WW1 style crosses, and patterns would be great), better selection of decals. They could really make a killing for comparatively little work. The current paintjobs are the lowest common denominator, being a games artist I know how little time custom paint jobs take and they could rattle these off with a dedicated artist on the job. Like you say, the game needs variety and heart and simple things like customisation, naming your ship etc can make a huge difference to people who like to immerse themselves in the game.
