I found this ship design... I think it would be a nice combat ship that could rival the python and be more fun to fly than the vulture...

Loved the fact that Rama was just a giant cylinder. It would indeed be awesome to stumble across something like that way out in deep space.

It does has an "Asp" feel to it. That's the "Phantom" from the animated series Star Wars Rebels.

The design needs to make sense. To me most of them don't. Sure they look cool, like an Italian sports car with a jet engine, but you see so many that look like sub-space vehicles more so than space ships. They have aerodynamic design features that are useless in space. Instead, I'd prefer something that's out of the box, if you will, with a shape that doesn't make aerodynamic sense because it doesn't need to. I'd like to shift the paradigm to space flight instead of a hybrid atmospheric model with space considerations.
