I see they are coming out with the mountain bongo and a sun bear for the first two animals released for dlc. Great to see.

Yes simply go on your xbox one and go to the store then go to add ons and youll see both the sun bear and bongo. It says theyll be available on the tenth this month.

I love the Sun bear idea and another Antelope is a great gift!!! They should release 2 animals every month!!!

Cheer Up and Don't Be Such a Debbie Downer :) I feel that it's great they are releasing anything and the Sun bear is a real treat.

I would also love some animals from the different groups like wolves or hyenas but still those DLC's are something.

I just hope for more DLC's on a regular basis...

At least it’s a start and any addition is a good addition. Isn’t it?

As if my making a crack about how the first set of DLC is a 14th subspecies of Bear and an 11th subspecies of Antelope is so deplorable that it brings down the overall optimistic mood of this thread.

I'm all for DLC, especially when it's FREE (thanks Chef Boyardee), but it's quite comical that the first release is another Bear and Antelope. Isn't being a Pollyanna grand?

The way I see it, it's probably much easier than an entire family. Think about it, how long would it take to make animations, AI and make sure everything runs smoothly for at least 3-7 modified models? Probably at least a month or so. While it may be disappointing to get another member from an already existent family, it's still a start.

Now all I can do is hope there's gonna be something for 360...

DLC announced

It looks like both platforms will be getting FREE animal DLC courtesy of Chef Boyardee.

For reverence to those who have yet to see it...

p.s. - This certainly explains the "Chef Boyardee" picnic tables which were a bit bizarre a few months ago at the game's launch. I would definitely be interested in more corporate sponsored items in game for the concessions and elsewhere.

A Chef Boyardee in a cup vending machine would be great, I'd set the price to "High" of course.

Sun Bear

I'm really very happy for the Sun Bear but they've made his ears to big and located them to high on his head...

Either way I can't wait to have it.

I think they should also make 3 remaining bears as DLC:
1. Panda
2. Spectacled bear
3. Sloth bear


Anybody wondered how much such a sponsorship as Cheef Boyardee cost?

What i am doing is creating different parks with different animals. for example i created a African Wild Zoo, so i put only African animals, and works.

In real life we don't see zoo with all species.. it is mixed.

But i agree that zoo limit has to increase and i am sure they will soon.

Just downloaded the two animals and im very happy with them. Awesome. The su n bear is pretty close to realism imo. Thanks for the release and hope to see many more to come.

I'm hoping for Pandas next. I really want Pandas :p

I'm not expecting them to be free like these ones, that was just a nice surprise. I'd quite happily pay for a dlc pack that contained Pandas :D

I really like the animals being free. However I'm not too happy the animals (or challenges) are not available on the Xbox 360. Also I hope we will see more DLC, some with more variations such as penguins, crocodiles etc. Even if that would mean those DLC wouldn't be free.

I agree completely; however, I am glad that there is finally some DLC being available... usually it seems like DLC comes out almost immediately after the game does, but then again, maybe that means this is actually additional content rather than sometime they took out of the game simply to make even more money, haha.

That's right, most of the time DLC comes out a week after the release of the original game. Most of the time because the developer or the publisher leave some content out of the game to release for extra money. So yes, I guess this is actual additional content. Also they wouldn't make much money of the animals (at least not from the gamers) because the Sun Bear and Mountain Bongo are free. Yes I'm still hoping the Xbox 360 gets some kind of support. Also did you now Frontier is trying to make indoor exhibits? And some small exhibits like enclosures for spiders and such? Also they are trying to make bird houses.
