The thing is I am so active here I doubt Facebook will tell me anything new.
That may change for some when the game moves more mainstream, especially for those who aren't so bothered about forums.

But personally I would be surprised if I used Facebook over forum for info.

I detest twitter...

Quite probably not 'core gamer' demographic here, but personally I never use Facebook or Twitter, though I do occasionally look at tweets.

I only opened an account to have a look and see what all the fuss was about, don't use it. Get all my info from here.

i'm using it "passively" to get some info on several games, when those are out i'll probably not continue, i dont visit those games page though, i just hope the update showes up on my page, on ED i usually find the info first in the forum.

Have not read whole thread , but I voted never visit use forum , but at the same time I didn't know about the elite game page will search and check it out

No longer use Facebook, it's an awful thing. Unless you like pictures of cats, someones dinner and want to know if it's raining outside. Plus all the stupid hoaxs, 'like this if you or someone you know has ...' posts..

Aaaaarrgggghhh!

I think it might have been you Mark who sent me a message from the facebook page thanking me for my support, that's about a year after I sent a message saying I'd backed the game. Not criticising, but it's when I realised I hadn't even liked the facebook page or EVER visited it since I did my initial panic search when realising the KS was over and I'd missed the boat (fortunately I hadn't).

I have since liked the facebook page.

I almost got Facebook once, but I didn't like their sign-up procedure. Especially that bit when they asked me to sacrifice a goat in honour of the Dark Lord Zuckerberg.

That was a few years ago. Maybe the sign-up procedure is a little better now.

I have it Liked and Followed so stuff tends to pop up in my feed, which is OK. I don't specifically look unless I think I've missed something.

only a goat?

mine was four virgins and a duck.... difficult finding that duck.

I'm not exactly anti-social but on the other hand... I don't touch any of that stuff, FaceStab included. I keep getting hassled by people I have barely even met by e-mail asking me to validate their existence on LinkedIn. Perhaps I am just a cynic (Yeah, you are! Ed. ) but I have read many stories of woe, from identity theft, abuse and bullying and even simple resistance to having your pages removed once you no longer want to take part.

They feel like a tangled, cloying web that you can become mired in if you take part and find out only too late that it can be difficult to extricate oneself.

Nice Facebook page though! ;)

cant say i visit the facebook page but i do see it pop up in my news feed when there is an update, more than once i've got the news first via facebook.
