Xbox Community Goal Mission

Hello fellow commanders,

for those who are not aware there is an xbox community goal that started today. Congrats fellow CMDRs we have made it to Tier 2, the rewards are listed below

Rewards:

A - Top 5% : 750,000 Cr
B - Top 15% : 500,000 Cr
C - Top 30% : 250,000 Cr
D - Top 60% : 1000,000 Cr
E - Top 90% : 50,000 Cr
F - Top 100% : 25,000 Cr

I have confirmed that you can contribute to this goal even in solo mode for those unsure or not wanting to play open. So head on over to Noti and accept the community goal at then head over to Julian Market in the Aganippe System. its only a 94.15ly run

Aganippe Rush is a rare item with only 4T per trip available. Also please be aware that this item is also illegal in Noti space, so best advice is to line up the docking bay and boost in

Aganippe Rush buys for 8966CR/T, sells at Noti in the Black market for 12,315CR/T = 49,260CR per run with a 13,396CR profit - fuel expenses. there is a 14,200CR fine if you get scanned while landing at Weber Gateway which is more than the profit

You can only carry 4 tones so you don't have to bring your big slow slows for this event.

Be advised: Aganippe is an anarchy system. I saw a member of the Kumo Crew, didn't see if it was a player or NPC. I've been interdicted twice (second one was the glitchy spaz screen and I failed it instantly).

I did see a CMDR OrPhAn ShAkEr. They didn't respond to my in-game message.

Being a rare item it is limited like other rare items. yes each run is only 4T. haven't tried the wait 10 minutes trick too see if you can get more.

I went back as soon as I dropped it off and it was there. Should be non stop if you want. I didn't get interdicted though.

Also it's illicit at noti so be quick to get in.

Most Rare item locations do respawn, but they also have a finite amount that they will provide even if you wait at the station for the next one or more spawns. Does anyone know what the max quantity is at this location? It is likely more than 4t

For example.... Vega Slimweed has a max allocation of 25t and will not generate more until you sell that amount. Then it resets. But the typical quantity you will find on the Commodity board at Vega is around 6 or 7t.

haven't tested the limit with respawns typically i'm getting 6-9 jumps between Noti & Aganippi so haven't bothered waiting

Just the 4t per run. Tried waiting and that is all that I was able to get. I just keep doing runs with extra cargo to make u the difference. Good luck everyone!

My Asp can do the trip between systems in 3 jumps so I decided to hang for over 30 minutes at Julian and it never gave me more than the original (4t), so apparently this Rare is maxed at 4 no matter how long you hang around. Speaking as a rather veteran Rare Trader, this is the first Rare item that I have not been able to get more than the original quantity by waiting around for a respawn.

All in all, I am finding this CG a bit of a grind. At least as far as how much you can haul per trip coupled with a pretty dismal return on the sale of the Rush itself. The distance between the two stations is just under 100 Ly, so we just miss that bump in the resale value of the Rare.

Most importantly though... I am keeping a close eye on our group progress because of what happened during the last CG we had on the Xbox where the delivered tonnage was never scaled to the size of our community. The PC side generally has thousands of participants and I don't think the XB1 community of ED has those numbers yet.

We should know within the next day or so.

Thats impressive! Good work! 10 trips is a lot of dedication! Lets keep our fingers crossed that FD is paying attention to our community's size and has scaled our CG to that number and not just tossed the multi thousand participant PC version over onto the XB1, which will not end well.
