Is this a rip off? Or is this Frontier first encounters all over again?

this is not concering ED but relevant to showcase the power of FDEV to deliver software on time and to plan.
To be fair, most games that publishers distribute are well trodden territory and certainly don't have input from a community design forum. It will almost certainly be a lot easier to manage those projects in terms of timescales than it is for ED.

Awesome, popuptoaster. From someone who has made precisely one (yes one) post in the thread (^^ that was it!), we'll all be sure to take your opinion on board in this matter.

Meanwhile, while we can have circular discussions, it doesn't mean it's pointless. A lot can be learned from repetition - and it's also giving people the chance to let off steam / have a bit of a moan. As an individual of a certain age, moaning takes up at least 35% of my day. So it's all good.

Ahh but mine was the most relevant to what was being discussed and the extreme lengths with which it was being debated, and my points stands, its pointless, the moaners and complainers will winge thinsg are not how they want them, while the troll feeders will just argue with them for ever.

So ironic that this thread was about to die before you just revived it.

Nice work that man!

Truly this thread is the gift that keeps on giving. :)

Oh, and here's a thought for today: All internet forums are inherently pointless. Anyone who seriously believes that anything they post on the internet actually matters really needs to go outside.

I'll be annoyed. And the more time that goes by, the more annoyed I will become, and the it won't just be me getting annoyed, it will also by many of the backers. The reputation of Frontier is at stake here. Its up to them to do whatever they like. A 15 minute email to a bunch of recipients every two weeks to let us know that progress is being made or what the probems are isn't a big ask.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating. :)

This is patently untrue, there are sections of this forum that have been involved in shaping the game the forum is connected to.

There are plenty of forums that give help and advise to people that CAN change things in many many ways.

Just because YOU choose only to post about irrelevancies does not mean everyone is the same.
