News Sneak Peek - Imperial Cutter and Fortified Starport

That's incredible! The ship is beautiful and the starport is better than anything I'd hoped for. Thank you. But that big central entrance really calls for some NPCs driving around too, no? :) Perhaps some scavengers looking for materials...

just two days ago i wrote ''i can't wait to see the imperial cutter landed on planet''.
thank you David to successfully satisfy my dreams every time.

Here’s another unedited sneak peek dev video. There are some streaming issues and the starport lighting is not final, plus some other things. The team is hard at work getting 1.5 out (likely tomorrow), so this is just me this time.

I thought people hadn’t had a good look at the Imperial Cutter, so here is some more of it, and a little something else too – the first look at a fortified starport:

This is just PERFECT !! Thanks a lot and please tell all FD member we do appreciate their effort and dedication to the game.

Many thanks for the peek. Really digging the echoing, sound as the SRV travels through the tunnel .. it's these little things I like! That's ship's not bad looking either, can't wait.

did you notice the new scanner bar on the hud ?

..and when he passed under the cutter belly, it seems to me that the SVR did a strange sound... what it could be ?

Launch the Tradeconda....got some work to do!

Flipping awesome ship, the cutter.

And that base...its huge...and tall...nicely done!

I love the look of the inhabited section of the starport once the SRV is through - the domes, the spires, etc. I am going to enjoy exploring different starports to see the differences.

I am not sure where my A-Spec Diamondback Explorer is going to carry the buggy though as its internals are maxed out to capacity. Maybe there will be trailers to purchase? ;)

So that's where the Millennium Dome ended up... (0:59).

It all looks fabulous.

Driving around those beautiful, huge thrusters makes me beg to know, will there be suitably pretty engine startup effects? Animated adjustable engine tailpipes? For some reason I'm thinking of the kind of effects used in 70s/80s/90s Japanese animation like Battle of the Planets or Akira.
