I flew a Cobra today.

Thank you Mr Zeewolf.

And I believe there were several people who had a go. If it was only intended for press bods and I somehow blagged a go, well lucky me I guess...

Thank you.
To michaelfife, I offer my humblest apologies. That (above) is the first evidence I have seen of a Cobra being flown. I am happy to be wrong (because we all benefit).

yeah I commented after those were posted that there was a few cobra shots in there and I must admit I was a bit surprised that the thread didn't go crazy :D I must be far too excited about this because I was carefully scrutinising every picture/video that was posted for new information!

So if you look at the right hand panel in the cobra what do you see behind it? an empty chair? Please tell me you looked.

been lapping up the new dashboard features too. Seems to be a new panel under the signature widget that appears to show your status in the current system. In the docking mode I really love the federation icon that appears next to the station name and there appears to be a clock counting up? So is that local time?

If you pause the video about 3 seconds in and look very closely it appears to show today's date, so its March on Zelada is it? Or does the Sidewinder pilot not know how to change his clock? I can understand that, the clock in my car is still on BST because I can't figure out how to change it.

Alpha 3 has a clock, and the date and time looks to be fixed to GMT, with the year pushed forwards to 3300, or whatever it is. I forget.

It was march 12th when I was watching it.

Due to the nature of multiplayer the clock will remain fixed for everyone. So Hyperspace won't take a week like it did in FFE, etc etc.

In Frontier If you flew to the planet and looked at the clock didn't it show a local planet time?

Wow that footage of entering the station, even on limited mobile phone footage, was awe inspiring.

So when is the length of a day getting increased to 30hrs so I can play a sufficient amount?

I'm so going to have to train my 5 year old daughter to play it so I don't face a full on rebellion from my wife and 2 daughters.

Really really impressive guys. So glad I backed this.

Looking really good. I particularly like the footage of the ship being raised on the lift and seeing the exit...it just looks so epic ! A gate to a mesmerizing world !

I think once the station external flyby vids start going up people will be blown away.
