But we need a hyperspace 'sequence' cutscene or render. Spinning ships are hopefully just an alpha placeholder, or there will be fisticuffs!

Yup, I noticed that too. Beam lasers were always a teensy bit gimballed, but from that video, FD seems to have increased their gimballing so they track the target more easily. I hope this wont make them the new goto weapon of choice otherwise we'll be back where we were with the gimballed pulse lasers. *Ducks head for ensuing gimballed weapon debate*Is that gimballed beams in action near the end?
If the answer is "nowhere", then "Why would you bother to buy decals and paintjobs and other vanity items for the exterior of your ship when the game is released, when you can't even see it?"
Hehe, Morbius must have been holding the camera!yay for strong arms \o/
Well it should be seamless. No loading screen or cutscene. I like the way it looked in the Damocles trailer.I don't mind the 3PV for outfitting (drones/cams/etc in the bay).

One thing that came to mind while watching the docking -
It's gonna be impossible with a mouse. You need to do a slow roll to mathc the station, but rolling via keyboard = max roll speed
