Actually I think I will ask Mr Roberts if he could get my Freelancer Dur flying, and responsive to Elite Dangerous. So I could fly it over here in Horizons as I don't see it flying there in the near future, and the rust in the hangar is playing havoc with the paintwork.
Just read the amount funded 96 mil now, another 4 mill and 3 figure player funded.
Anyway's FD you keep on trucking guys. Your doing magnificently especially in comparison to the other BDSSE.:)

NOT VERY GOOD.... And I'm miffed because I cleared my diary, wife and kids to give me all of Tues, Wed & Thurs (day & night) to play the damn thing. It's a VERY good job that I'm hooked on Elite-D and can't wait for Horizons. But, It's still NOT a good PR move from yourselves............................. blah blah blah!!!!!

At least it's only a few days (allbeit, probably a week or more before I can organize a decent run of it). But I'm still not happy, especially after paying extra to play it on the 24th.

One extra point, no-one has stated how long the beta is to last. And, I'll tell you this, if it turns out to only be until the weekend or something stupid like that, then I'd go from being miffed, to VERY VERY MIFFED OFF!!!

Well excuse me for having my doubts; -but (not just to play), some of those beta purchasers did want to (test and give feedback).

Guys, keep in mind that Elite Dangerous is mostly a space simulator, landing on planets is accessory to the core game! Go out and enjoy the core game!

From your point of view ok, but when i've pre-order Elite: Dangerous, the possibility of landing on the planet was planed in the Dev objectifs and more features to come ;)

The beta has been delayed a few days. It wasn't GUARANTEED to come out on that date.. It's a BETA - it's subject to slippage. Remember, Horizons doesn't have a confirmed RELEASE date.

Well I'm not happy for one, I deliberately broke one of my legs so I didn't have to go into work today. They said the 24th, I now I just get to sit here with my leg in plaster and no horizons to play?

Kris,

That's the nature of beta. Plus, given Frontier's track record, that was to be expected. They just released a beta a couple of weeks ago, of course a new beta couldn't happen so quickly.
