The developers of Watch Dogs admitted to it. Its not nonsense.
Compare ED screenshots from Xbox and PC. They don't look the same. Also look at the "press 3 fix" for icy rings posted by Obsidian Ant and tell me this is isn't a bug but a downgrade...

A few months ago following comments on here about the subject of nerfing PC graphics for XBox I spoke to 2 people in the industry, one a graphics programmer on several AAA games. I was told it's absolutely nonsense.

I watched the video and saw the same.... When I set quality to 360p lol!!!!!!!!
Try rewatching the same videos in 1080P and it's a WHOLE LOT DIFFERENT!!!!
@OP Before you're gonna complain at least watch and post screenshots from a rather highly compressed 1080P video not crappy CRT TV 360p res!
EK.
That wasn't a downgrade..... It was a glitch with in-game effects being turned off.
I'm hoping to see stuff like this. Europa from Battlezone in the 90s.

Maybe you missed it, but this is what I tried to say.
The graphics have nothing to do with the xbox. People who keep saying that they are dumbed down for the xbox are totally wrong. I can play in 4k. I didn't know xbox one could do that. That's one example. Graphics look fine to be considering the huge scale of everything.
Sub-surface scattering is not working on the ice, and a few other things that will be improved.
btw that first pic is not ispired from Europa...i think it is one of the Uranus or Neptune moons. This is, in my honest opinion, what Europa and planets should look like in ED:
I think it us unfair to compare because we don't know if Cobra engine is more capable than SpaceEngine or Infinity engine.Having SpaceEngine to compare with (and even Infinity early videos)
Exactly! They suddenly forgot how to make good graphics!
Oh, I remember. It's the XBox! Right?
