Is it really a good idea to reinstall the 32bit Elite Dangerous ? We don't even know if it's the beta or not... I suspect the beta will download all new files and not use them at all.

As said multiple times, you will have to download a new launcher from your store-account to be able to download the horizons beta.
The normal launcher will not feature it.

Why would they make you download new content for the love game when the version we are waiting for is a beta.

Like 1.5 it will be a different option
