News Horizons Beta Delay to Monday 30th November

So when this goes live I just read that snap shot of your main save gets carried over to beta but any progress is not carried back. Does this mean we start where we are in the game? And do we then have to go and buy the landing vehicle somewhere?

And you start downloading the update and it will be like 10Kbps and will take like 6 hours to complete. I think most people from the UK won't be able to try the Horizons beta today. Better wake up earlier tomorrow to beat everyone...

It means you start in the game at the time when the snapshot was taken which, as I understand it, was several weeks ago

Probably yes, as soon as Horizons is out you will have to buy a new srv again

It works like so. If in the main server, you own and are flying an anaconda, in Eravate, the beta snapshot will start you in eravate, flying the anaconda, with all the money you had at the time the snapshot was taken.

Im unsure about the SRV though, good question.

usually we start from when they took the snapshot a couple of days ago. I dont think it takes a snapshot upon your first spawn.
