The Christmas word is not PC anymore. We mustn't alienate the others who may be experiencing a special day in December.

I personally don't care the slightest what people call things...on the other hand I think people feeling like they "aren't allowed" to celebrate Christmas anymore are just a tad bit oversensitive. (Especially everytime this "debate" is done in the US).
Every year Christmas decorations in shops are appearing earlier and earlier...we have never before celebrated Christmas as much as now. Not that this extension of Christmas has anything to do with "celebration"...for some reason I suspect commercial interests have a much bigger part in this than any sort of "tradition".

As I understand it, the servers (which I thought could be extended, the whole point of going to Amazon), cannot cope with the (predictable) influx of new players after the weekend deals. Therefore the forums have been naffed to cope.
Unfortunately, the same seems to be true of the game servers. Just hope they don't naff the game too!

I agree that "Holiday 2015" is more ambiguous than it needs to be, but if they said "Christmas 2015" then that would imply a specific date, December 25th. They may not know the specific date yet or don't care to commit to one yet (obviously since the beta got shuffled around so much).
So saying 'Released Holiday 2015' is precise is it

Do you blame them? It is really a whole new game, and from what i am reading on here and watching on TwitchTv, there are quite a few bugs to iron out. It will be out when it is ready and when that will be, will be! I have faith in them!

Like I said, there's a reason they use the term "Holiday 2015" instead of "Christmas 2015".
Christmas is a specific date.
FD either doesn't know the specific date or doesn't care to share it with us yet.
Hence the use of Holiday.

When I rad Holiday 2016 I thought it was due at the end of the summer holidays. It wasnt till a few weeks later that I realised they meant Christmas. And Frontier are a British company god help us when the British start speaking like Americans. To myself and 99% of other British its Christmas NOT 'The Holidays'

I never said it was to do with political correctness, it's simply confusing. If you don't want to say Christmas 2015 as you think it means one particular date (it doesn't check every advert ever), then say 'December'.
Holiday 2015 means Judith Chalmers somewhere on an island with excellent zimmer-frame access.
