Yes i find the negativity surprising. Not doing 2.0 beta but interested to see a CG dynamic being tested out for when this thing goes live. And it looks like it could be be fun...

Its up as a community goal in the bulletin board now in the station


No clues to whether its in space or on a planet , but I suspect it's in space ,so many planets to cover

it is actually a test of new functionality of the beta, which is what you signed up for, with the added bonus that you may get a prize at the end!.

assuming it works well, i can see this being a welcome ingrediant to be added to the standard mission generators.

You could be right the goals got a week set on it so plenty time to search some planets but the clue that thay may use jamming devices leads me to think it maybe a invisible poi from above surface but maybe can be picked up from srv scanner I hope I'm wrong coz be like looking for needle in a planet size haystack

Sorry, a little negativity coming, don't read if you don't want to hear it. I don't like community goals like this at all, I feel like it's just a lottery and I don't like the lottery.

C'mon people it's just feature testing in a beta :D

and it's not a lottery i think; where would you hide stuff you stole from a federation aligned faction...

so we have 3 systems; 2 are federation one is independent... hmmm
went to Pijan and found this at Amis orbital:

Pijan 2 has a base with huge trespass area around it, lots of defence turrets and skimmers... Pijan 3 has a base on it too... going to check that out next...

I was already at 36 degrees longitude, found two sites with sentries and goodies. Game crashed at the 2nd site when I was disembarking in my SUV. There was a canister that was brown instead of blue. :( Came back in, and can't find it.

And now to make things interesting... just found a spot to check out and the rocks are floating.....
