At the risk of sounding greedy - now that we have throttle button increments (yay), I'd also kindly request the various "set throttle to X%" options from the ship. Basically just this entire throttle section. :D

And a gas&brake option in FAON mode.

Awesome so far.
I had a strange bug with throttle keys in SRV with assist off but was fine after relog.

Found one bug tho I think, mouse roll in SRV rolls even when mouse look is enabled. IT doesn't feel intended.

Glide was a pretty late addition to 2.0... pleased with how that one turned out though!

Using it for station approach has already been raised internally, no promises/ETA though as there's a lot of hurdles to get over first...
Great news! Thank you for looking at it... :)

Bizarre. I have an HD6750M with "only" 1GB of VRAM. I haven't had any problem running the beta so far. Most graphic settings on medium and I get around 16-18 fps when on a planet at 1920 x 1200. I guess those limitations are not hardcoded in the game...

I get 30 and more FPS even on ULTRA settings except one option "Terrain Quality" set to medium.
On some planets i have 25 FPS. On some other i have sometimes drop to 20 but average is about 30 FPS. So...
I am just curious about that texture bug.
Can you do screenshot inside your SRV looking to the buttons/legs?
If you have 1 gig of ram and have nice textures then there should be something more besides memory limit...
I think...

Also as far as i tested some textures in Beta 4 are now visible. I mean i now see a little more textured content than in beta 3.
Maybe michael can do something to make see em all? :)

Lots of good stuff in the change log. Thank you!

"In VR remove inertial camera simulation entirely"

Oooo...is this the 'loose seatbelt' effect of sliding around in the cockpit (shown by the UI moving in/out) as you change speed??

Can we puuuhhlease have an option to get rid of that in the normal (non VR) game?

You want an app on Android that will do the same that the one on iOS? Which basically means that it crashes as soon as it's launched? And that is utterly useless?

My iOS app doesn't crash - it actually works quite well. You just can't do anything with it once you have logged in (other than see the local commodities prices and ships that you can buy there).

It's frustrating because you are logged into the commander, it shows the usual hangar screen with the name of your location on it, but then that's it - you can't do anything.

The real-time dependent element that was introduced to the game (that requires input during the course of the day), is the collection of Powerplay materials for delivery. This would be an ideal use for the app, and would mean people like me who are out at work all day, away from a games-level PC, could still participate in the time-dependent loading part of the game. Then when I get home, in my limited time to play the game I would have a loaded cargo bay to start with, having been collecting during the day.

That is awesome they are improving the orbital flight to glide transitions. That helps continuity between flight modes and increases immersiveness.

Maybe they could do something similar with cruise enable and dropout? Or even hyperspace....a cursor that appears that you can steer toward or away from in order to adjust your supercruise entry vector towards or away from the star.

Spent last hour hovering over poi not spotted anything yet from cockpit of ship main thing I notice is that the poi filled up my scanner at any range when above making it a very wide field to cover but still can't spot a thing

just looked at this video of someone doing just that

Could it be the fact that the POI you have found is a rock containing minerals, rather than a crashed ship or other big visible POI?

Precisely what I was going to mention. Not EVeRY POI will be visible from the ship. Just the ones what would/should be (i.e.-crashes, bases, etc.)
