You want an app on Android that will do the same that the one on iOS? Which basically means that it crashes as soon as it's launched? And that is utterly useless?
My iOS app doesn't crash - it actually works quite well. You just can't do anything with it once you have logged in (other than see the local commodities prices and ships that you can buy there).
It's frustrating because you are logged into the commander, it shows the usual hangar screen with the name of your location on it, but then that's it - you can't do anything.
The real-time dependent element that was introduced to the game (that requires input during the course of the day), is the collection of Powerplay materials for delivery. This would be an ideal use for the app, and would mean people like me who are out at work all day, away from a games-level PC, could still participate in the time-dependent loading part of the game. Then when I get home, in my limited time to play the game I would have a loaded cargo bay to start with, having been collecting during the day.
