I did, just kept pressing [Enter], the progress bar does not move. I also restored todays DB just to see if that was the issue, no joy.

no system changes, just logged out of TCE and ED for lunch. Win10 didn't do any updates either. At any rate, the re-install fixed the issue. Thanks for all your help.

Just started playing this game and found this tool - I really want it to work but I'm no where near the starter systems anymore and non of the data is in the starter file: is there a community that updates a master FTP regularly or something I can subscribe to? Love the tool but the lack of data and need for repetitive data entry is kind of a sticking point for me at the moment. Thanks.

and during my search for some tools i found TCE. I love the idea of a proper overlay, and first off i think a thank you for your work is in order - so thanks, Eventure!
Sadly, i haven't been able to use TCE yet. I read the manual, updated my Excel 2007 to the latest version (SP3) (damn you microsoft and your installers btw), set up the "safe zone" for macros etc, ran the Setup .bat just fine, edited the .xml file in the E directory - but TCE itself wont start; it gives me an Error at Line 114 in the module Ablauf_Startprozedur ("Start_ID = 0"), the popup window reads "Error while compiling: project or library not found". I run Win 7 Prof x64 with SP1. The manual says i have to update "everything microsoft", maybe i missed something?
I'm grateful for any hints that might help!
Also, @Eventure: judging by the comments in the code you are a german like me, so if i should clarify my previous statements/descriptions in german to allow for an easier exchange just let me know.

I assumed i already had it, but i went ahead and installed it - yet the error persists :/
Please try this:
1) Open a Command Prompt as Admin
2) type sfc /scannow
3) When that completes, shut down and restart PC
4) Uninstall Office fully
5) Restart
6) Install Office
Alrighty, sadly, this didn't work.
However i may have solved the issue:
First off, the Initial Error in line 114 (and 115) was sloved by renaming the variables stated there, Start_ID and Ziel_ID. with my limited skills i found out that no such variables are being declared, but the variables ID_Start and ID_Ziel are being declared. So i just renamed the ones in Line 114 and 115.
Then i got an Error at a Format function somewehre further down (something to do with the cash amount formatting i guess) and after some googling i disabled the ActiveX-Library that was marked missing. Now the Splash Screen of your program shows, but it seems my PC kinda crashed on me, will report back after a reboot.
EDIT: Now it loads to approx. 50% judging by the progress bar and then throws a new Error:
Error while compiling: User-Defined Type not defined (please note that i am translating the error message here, the correct english phrasing might be different)
Error occurs in the DB_Export_SQL module at line 132: Dim cn As New ADODB.Connection , with everything after the Dim being highlighted.

EDIT EDIT: ActiveX 6 references were somehow deactivated, launches fine now - just gotta figure out how to properly use it now. Thank you for your quick replies!

Found and fixed the problem. Thanks for reporting.
Super small tiny why am I even mentioning it bug...the 'distance traveled' in the logbook displays with 5 or 6 decimal places. Such as 3324.45556323. I imagine the stuff after the decimal needs not be displayed.
Roger, displayed values are rounded now.
Uhhh.... that's a big one, requires a change of the Personal.mdb file, which will be made by TDM comming with the next full version.
For now, you have to spend your money to keep it below the limit, or note it elsewhere meanwhile. The upcomming limit will be 2^28 Credits.
Found also in the process of fixing some further bugs at the Credit panel. So thanks for making so much money
