[VIDEO] Hunting Jumponium In Shinrarta Dezhra With Cmdr Eisen - Taking Off

A very profitable Jumponium trip indeed, Germanium, Arsenic, & Niobium. Racing down the crater ridge was awesome, and the company was great too :)

The fog added mystique to the journey as well, we were not really sure if we were going up or down...

You could note down coordinates and meet there. But you'd have to make sure to be in the same instance. Private group helps.
Besides: This could be my Anaconda build. I still have to meditate about if 1 more light year range is worth not taking the 32 ton-tank. But otherwise this is capable of boosting and the Thrusters are very capable to land this BUFF.

Outfitting StarGazer

It looks more and more like this. Hit HR 6421 3 hard today, went to 69% hull, so I've bumped the shield from D4 to D6. Hopefully I'll get better at landings...

You could take inexpensive AFMU's in the empty compartments. Doing so is a trick to potentially divert heat damage from more essential modules. Actually, I think a term for this use could be 'passive heatsinks'.

Btw, thanks :)

Here's the latest Distant Worlds video.

Akira Makasari, Eisen, and Kamzel scouting out the Pallaeni system, and base camp 'Zero'.

Pallaeni marks the beginning of the Galactic Highway which will stretch all the way to Beagle Point on the far galactic rim ...

LOL, how could you fly with external camera in those canyons is a mitery to me, and that's a serious take off
will add the POI here with a link to the vid: [Distant Worlds] Cartographics & Prospecting Public Service

I've found a nice mountain on HR 6421 2, it's 6Km tall

After messing with some fits last night, I think I'm going to settle on this as a final fit unless someone has a better suggestion.

You can drop the PP to a 2A, then fiddle with the priorities. You don't need PVH (unless landed) or CH (at all). After you land, you can turn off the Fuel Scoop and turn on the PVH.

Maybe consider a 6A fuel scoop, and you could play around with your fuel tank. I've reduced my 32t to 24t on my Anaconda for a bit extra route planner goodness.

I've got a 6B 6D on mine, and honestly, I have no idea why anybody would need to go higher. Sure, if you have money to burn. But mine tops up the tank before I've finished honking/scanning the star (and I only approach to 60% heat), let alone looking at the System View to see if there's anything worth scanning in the system.

Or do you guys not even do that routine while sprinting?

Or an extra cargo hold. Could be nice on the way back if we find some rare goodies.
And when Empty they don't take up any space either right?

Just submitted my application over in the sign-up thread...wanted to drop in and say that I've always felt like getting into the social aspect of Elite was difficult vs. other games - but this effort has gotten me very excited. Hopefully I make it onto the roster!

Ok, I am 403 light years from the system in Erimus's "Base camp zero" video. I am off work in about 4 hours. It's only about a 20 min flight to that location if you are still in the area and online at the time. I just need to know what group to join.

The A scoops run quite a bit cooler. While sprinting I want to start the next jump charge as soon as the cool down has finished whilst also doing a little scoop. It really helps for this I find. I don't scan the star and only check the system for good stuff after the FSD is charging the next jump.
