Nice match;)
In the galmap there is also another "galaxy" seen in the background, the blue swirly object,
looks alike aswell.

First guess i saw that symbol was "Barnard's Loop",
so we learnt to trust the gut this time.
I'm gonna fit me some adventure galley!
.
I might have missed this - but are the owners of these structures located within Pleiades or in another nebula?
.
If in another nebula, why should they make a logo that looks like +500ly away from the nebula they habituate?

Have we got a list of systems roughly 23ly from Maia that contain a landable binary planet? It could just be coincidental but the coords could indicate that it is also a small planet. It seems like we have the criteria to eliminate a large number of planets from the search going just by the fact it's binary and the approximate distance. Planning to go hunting for this later but unable to get on and make a list myself right now.

go to Maia in an Asp, preferrably one with a 28-30Ly range.

Open contacts panel, scroll to the 20-23 range and send me a screenshot. I'll tell you whats around 23Ly then

Two binarys, pretty much exactly 23 LY away. Espescially the 2nd is pretty rough terrain. Low grav, 2xxx radius.
Pleiades Sector IH-V c2-12

Oh, if the cmdr who messaged me there reads this: sorry, didnt see it until you dropped out.
Those are not landable though are they?

Has anyone looked to see if the barnacles are pointed at anything or are they just pointed straight up into space? That second one found is at a pretty steep angle.

Just want to thank MB and the whole FD-Team - MORE OF THIS STUFF please... This is exactly the content where you need some brain-cells, and not the PEWPEWPEW-Rubbish we have seen before. MORE OF THIS :)

Thanks

Symbols on it, green glow, wave scanner signal, and what happens when you shoot the spires. =p

It is on solo so I presume that means it persists.

SO IT WAS IN MEROPE!!!!! Szyslak22 I revoke my owing you $5.
Indeed sir. The FIRST ONE FOUND was in Merope :) Congrats to the commanders that persisted there.

I still think people are misinterpreting what I said and what Michael agreed with. The chance to find these on the surface of Merope 5C is no higher than the chance to find them on any other landable planet in the Pleiades with the same conditions. Now that we know what they look like and how to search for them, the findings will increase rapidly. And we will eventually find the hand placed ones in some cool locations.

The more planets, systems, and nebulae we find with Barnacles, the clearer the picture will become. And it will become more clear that the UAs are not pointing at Merope because of the Barnacles. There is another reason, and barnacles are part of that puzzle. A puzzle which might take months and years to realize.
