Why it wouldn't send the name of the system and planet is a mystery though
The message appeared only for a short moment and was corrupted and only partially decoded because of that (it was said in the news).

Okay, it seems to get more mysterious - or I am just halucinating, or it doesn't have to do with anything at all...
Entering an SSS - the one that used to have the gold and then a swarm of vultures appears and so on - I found this:
Attacking ships were there as well.
Is that new? Worth further investigations?

I don't know but for it is obvious that it is related with unknown artiffact, it also produced that particle blue sparks besides, when you drive the debug camera inside the big structure You can actually see that it is containing one inside dont You think. I think it is a louncher of the unknown artifacts.

Not all are persistent.
I do not doubt that this one should be. It is a confirmed location on multiple commanders. I went there due to those reports and found it in solo mode. Logged out, had some issues with the game + nvidia drivers crashing, and I cant find it anymore in solo. :/

That would seem to match the recently discovered Barnacle at Pleiades Sector Jc-U B3-2 First planet. Coords 21.9371 96.9727

So, extrapolating from previous history it sounds like the WitchHead nebula may be the next spawn ground of a UA shell with a barnacle location??

Thrusters are inactive, still at 100% integrity though.

My SRV hull went from 100% to 7% while sitting next to the big central barnacle thingy. So, you may not need Meta-Alloys to have spontaneous damage.
