If UA's or Meta-Alloy were never sold to a station it would not have any problems. The real enemy is our own greed and that is one enemy which can not be defeated.

Goog idea as the barncakes are now kinda top in priority. However, at a quick glance I didn't find anything related to the news piece on the GalNet about the mysterious signal which was captured at Obsidian, coming supposedly 23 LY from MAIA.
I posted earlier (probably) an incomplete list of the systems that were approx 23 LY from MAIA (+-0.9 LY). Since then I have been scouting these system and found nothing related to the mysterious species, barnacles and UAs. However, I have documented some of my exploration data and can post here if anyone is interested.

Might be a crazy idea but... has anyone tried to "seed" a Barnacle?.
Now we know what kind of terrain requires for growing, might be possible to drop an UA a few hundred meters away from an existent Barnacle, and wait for something to happen. So we would confirm if UA are Barnacles' seeds.

That's because the signal have been decoded 20 minutes later, and the Barnacles found already, together with the Anaconda Wreckage.
So it is not relevant anymore.
Where can I find this list? I'd like to take a look to those systems myself
