Like we render the Solar System as seen from Earth, right?

;)

Nah - No one would render the Solar System as seen from outside if they came from Earth, would they?

Ooopss..

Has your other half installed something to limit your viewing of..... pictures on the internet?

;)

Haha - no

Ah man I deliberately didn't publish the link as I figured it was already here!

...but thanks :)

You're welcome - I've taken the liberty of breaking into your office at Thompson (probably should have used a lock pick instead of a pulse rifle, sorry about the mess) and helping myself to a glass* of whisky from the dusty old bottle that someone had left a note on saying "1000 year old malt, do not touch -Z" as I figured you'd offer me a shot as a thanks.

*ok, half the bottle**

** actually, all of it. Sorry

The Galnet is the most reliable source of clues and happenings, the last few have included the story about the Antares being found, and then the signal relating to the barnicles and crashed Anaconda. Could there be a link between the crashed Antares and the crashed conda's, could the Antaris have crashed where the origin of the UA's and Barnacles have come from, maybe we should look to clues to find the Antares crash site.

And what if the symbol on the barnacle wasn't Barnard's Loop at all ? What if it was something bigger ? I'm not even myself sure of this theory, but that's what it is, just a theory... What if it was the map of the futur Thargoid Empire ? Or the barnacle colonised space ? Look at it when I supperposed it whit the galaxy map, with the core and the pleiades nebula inside the zone : (and the reversed map also, maybe their map is from our bottom, we don't know)

Yes someone posted an idea like this yesterday. I like it

Now that you used green to represent the symbol, I get vibes of Alastair Reynolds' Galactic North...

Oh sorry I didn't see it, but anyway good to see I'm not the only one thinking about something else than Barnard's Loop, we must keep thinking about all the possibilities

Quite alright! I have another stash in a Barnacle on Merope ;)

Actually, I need to send Rizal a bottle of that, for all his hard work here :)
