I wondered what all those posts were about. lol
Been extra busy at work so I guess I missed it. Which is lucky for me. Usually that sorta thing happens on my day off. Lol
Shame I'm not at Ch'i Lin at the moment. I left to do the other CG. Lol

A decent and unnecessary gesture, but of course totally useless for those of us who had a small window of opportunity to play over the weekend and couldn't do so due to the outage. I'll not be able to play again during this bonus time frame.

As an explorer myself if the game is off for several hours what have you lost?

That's right DIDDLY

If you are carrying out time critical missions etc then it seems fair.

I myself don't see an issue with it.

If you are about to cash in data and do get +20% enjoy it.

for those of us on the DWE, it would be great to get 20% value on objects scanned over the next 48 hours so when we eventually hand in our exploration data there is a 'nice' little bonus for the next couple of days scanning but I doubt that is an easy task to accomplish

Yeah - also I don't think FD would want to encourage a large number of explorers to suddently cut short their journeys - just to cash in a temporary payout buff - it's a wise move from Frontier IMO.

Was trying to get on last night and first time managed to plot a 1000LY route before the disconnection and couldn't get back on again. Pretty poorly considered reward, I'm currently over 35,000LY out from Sol so no chance of being able to make use of this.

A free paint job, giving everyone 500k or something like that, that everyone could have used would have been a better solution imho. I think the gesture is great, but hope it doesn't set a president every time there is a little down time and people get greedy and complain that they didn't get compensated every time!

What's an explorer going to do with more credits? It's more about exploring otherwise they would be in the bubble generating income. By the time they get back they will have already made enough scan credits to become an Elite explorer. Maybe a secret message to all explorers 5,000 light years out for a really cool system to go to.

This isn't possible as the prices are determined on when you sell the data not when you scan the objects, it just makes a note of the type of object and the level of detail.

Now that you mention CG, I can't still forget that nice paint for my eagle, which I earned during the first and best combat CG in Lugh. (Crimson special paintjob). I really thought that we would have the opportunity to grab some more of those in future CGs, which I think was not a case?

Thus, I'd propose to you for some at least community goals to start offering a kind of special skin for free. It will make the CGs even livelier and more fun, more appealing to us. Thanks

Why tyvm Frontier, last night did throw me off and considering it was my first game time for a while, peeved me somewhat. So a 20% uplift is very welcome indeed. Oh....and don't pay any attention to the moaners, as it doesn't matter what you do, there'll always be some ungrateful so and so to poo poo proceedings.
Time to play!!!
