As an explorer myself if the game is off for several hours what have you lost?

That's right DIDDLY

If you are carrying out time critical missions etc then it seems fair.

I myself don't see an issue with it.

If you are about to cash in data and do get +20% enjoy it.

They're paying out on bounties and combat bonds which aren't time limited ... I'm 24 kylies out & won't make it back (even if I tired) and don't much care (lost a bit of game time last night myself - but no, not the end of anything), however if they're going to offer compensation for server downtime the rewards should be fair to everyone...

This isn't possible as the prices are determined on when you sell the data not when you scan the objects, it just makes a note of the type of object and the level of detail.

Exactly why I said its probably not an easy task to accomplish...

I am not complaining at all... in the scheme of things it makes little difference really... it would have been nice if frontier had come up with a way of ensuring all players got a bonus as far as a sense of 'fairness' goes but it will make very little difference to my bank balance at the end of this journey... 20% of scans for 2 days out of 12 weeks getting to Beagle Point and then however long the return journey is... is very little monetarily speaking...

It won't undo failed missions but will reward new missions with a 20% buff.

All mission reward credits, bounties and combat bonds will receive a 20% uplift when cashing them in.

Missions will show as the same reward but should add 20% as a bonus when cashing in. Bounties will also say the same amount has been claimed but will then increase in your transactions. As will combat bonds.

The bonus period will be available from 14:00 GMT (30 minutes time) today until 14:00 GMT Monday 1st Feb.

great , i have to work 12 hours today and 12hours tommorow. my playtime was over at 11a.m.
i will come home monday early at 7 a.m. after 21 hours of working and must go sleep, when i can play again , i cant get any bouses.

why nort making it with a account bonus time instead? huh? 12 hours pure game play time will ofer 20% on top of all.
would be much more fair for those who have a job and a famaly, instead of beein jobless and lifeless

It's cool they're looking into potentially more for Monday, but although I'm out in the deep, I'm not so worried if I made it back in time or not. But if anything is done, it should be for all explorers and not just DW members.

In general, it's a cool thing for FD to do, so thumbs up.

Thanks Frontier, that's a thoughtful gesture! I may be fairly new to the community, but this has so far been the best social experience from a video game I've ever had. FD is something special in a world of EA, Dice and Valve!

Now that you mention CG, I can't still forget that nice paint for my eagle, which I earned during the first and best combat CG in Lugh. (Crimson special paintjob). I really thought that we would have the opportunity to grab some more of those in future CGs, which I think was not a case?

Thus, I'd propose to you for some at least community goals to start offering a kind of special skin for free. It will make the CGs even livelier and more fun, more appealing to us. Thanks

Donation missions have unchanged credits costs, but will reward 20% more faction reputation. Hopefully this clears up your question?
