Approximate Time Played... chills!

I admit it: I am an airhead some times and just miss important events I really should have noticed.
Like this one information at the bottom of the status screen under statistics, exploration: Approximate Time Played.

I assume this is in-game time only, clocking away what you actively spend enjoying Elite: Dangerous.

My time? just now, while writing this?

11 weeks, 4 days, 19 hours and 54 minutes. That amounts to 1 964 hours. In this game. Wow. :eek:
I think I can safely say I like this game!

Anybody better? :)

I was shocked too when I first saw 13 weeks, 2184 hours+

All while in full time work, part time higher education and a full time relationship to boot

I don't know how I've managed this

My thoughts exactly!

And the funny thing is when I play, my wife watches TV... If I told her that she has spent 2000 hours watching TV these last 12 months, she would knock my teeth out! :D

Right panel, first tab and move to stats page that tell how much money you made on each profession and other stats. Then go down to exploration stats and there it is. it tells it in week/day/hour/minute format.

Just coming up on 1000 hours. Would be more if annoying things like work didn't keep getting in the way ;)

Me too, almost 1000 hours.

Yesterday I landed on a moon for the first time in Horizons. Glanced at the clock and somehow 2 hours had vanished :D

First time I landed on a body it was 6 hours, didn't even see a POI. Then the next time a friend and I spent another 6 in the Caloris Basin on mercury (seriously look it up and go there, it's amazing)

This game commanders, for all the nay saying about content and the like. There still seems to be a lot of us that just enjoy the escapism. Somehow managing to find all these hours with our already very full time lives.

I love it

Thats just it - I was driving around looking for an empty parking space. Never can seem to find one that is free :)
