Here's another one from WP6 where we tried to melt a rock using just the awesome power of our SRV headlights... ;)

...with a little help from Cmdr Moonbird's T-6 overseeing the experiment :D

Nice meet up at 5:30 with lots of friends and some new ones who accepted my friend request. Lovely spot. Easy to pick out from orbit.

Indeed I am in the core or something :)

Yep, not in a hurry, just browsing around, don't have to go in galmap the rest of the evening.

I knew you were cheating somehow to find the best sites for pictures, your trick is now exposed and out in the open. Going all eco on the trip...You cheater! ;)

I came across a pair of moons extremely close to each other on my way to waypoint 7. System is GREAE HYPAI TP-W D2-211. Planet is 7 A A pictures at http://imgur.com/a/txyaO

Then I decided to go down to the smaller world to enjoy the view when I noticed something strange with the other moon in the sky. It was flashing

Either we are passing through alien territory or the space sickness is getting a hold on me

You know those guys that went BAM at WP05?
Then there's stacking like that at WP06.

Which bit of "Are you mental?!?" are you all having trouble with? :)
We're not even 10% of the way along the return journey and taking risks like that on a planet's surface.

It's one thing if I run the canyon between contact binaries or thread the needle between a planet and it's rings. It's only me that goes BAM if it goes wrong. These antics at waypoints run the risk of some terrible tragedy.

I don't think anyone was forced to be in that tower, if they choose to take that risk we can't stop them.
But I think it might be a little lonely at Beagle point after all.
