Yeah I was watching you two last night from the comfy seat of my Asp as I was flying around exploring that trench at WP07 during the meet up. At first I thought "these two CMDR's are crazy, that's a steep slope and a deep ravine!", but then part of me was tempted to land again and deploy my SRV to join you both! I've got some pics from the sky of you two, I'll post them up when I get home tonight.

Cool, would like to see those. There was a third commander following a little way behind, but I think I managed to warn him after I fell but before he reached the point of no return. I do remember you and I think an Anaconda flying around in the trench though. If it had been lighter I probably wouldn't even have considered going that far, but fortunately one lives and learns...

That's really useful to know. I'm trying to avoid any damage whatsoever and certainly don't intend having to do another BRB so didn't really know how close you could get. But even dropping out at 46km your heat was still quite low.

I dont think that Newman's out. He just had a similar experience with support as I had and complained. Dont want to incite rumours here.

YAY! I Found one of my holy grail discoveries! A Earth-Like with rings, Beautiful!
Having taken a bit of a detour to check out a planetary nebula (inspired by this thread), I found my first ever red giant on the trip back down towards WP 8 .
