altho, on a positive note, the streets are generally less dogsh**t cluttered as they used to be when I was young, when scraping your shoe was an almost daily task.

More annoying is gathering it in a plastic bag and then chucking it away in the woods. - all you've done is preserved it.

I'll just add two things:

balding men with ponytails
that git that drives at 40mph as I approach any motorway junction I wish to use.

Ah but can I believe you?...If you had ever used "fine" in the way I meant "fine", you weren't really fine at all but seriously miffed, in which case your testimony that you've never used fine out of context could be a fiction.
