Sitting in the team deathmatch match making lobby, watching some guys come in.. there's 3....4....5.... guys... some minutes go by... wait, one them got bored.. 4......3......4..... 5.... yes we're going to get to play!!!! ........3.... ah man... I'll have a look in the other games... 3.. oh there's some of the guys who got bored in team deathmatch, they're in here now! 4....3...... I think I'll go trading for a bit..

Oh and every now and again, just to make it really exciting!.. Game starting in 15.... a guy leaves.... waiting for players.....5......4

I've NEVER gotten a team death match. The only mode that seems to have any traffic is the free for all death match and that's just not fun to me. CQC ded game.

I think maybe what it needs is:

A: An ability to talk with the other players in the lobby so you can say "Hey guys, if we all go into deathmatch there'll be enough"
B: Some visibility of the numbers of people in the other lobbies

I love the game, it's just the match making that's really frustrating. I have had quite a few team deathmatches tonight though.. Finally won the last one.. After all the best players got bored and logged I guess ;-)

It really depends on when you are trying to play, prime time evening in UK and USA's east-west coast typically work best for me.

But yeah, it's annoying as hell.

Yeah, CQC is a great addition but underused cos match making is so hard. So no one uses it.
Power Play is a great addition buy implemented poorly as a grind, so no one uses it.
Wings is a great addition, but playing together is a paid, so I hardly ever use it.

Hopefully the season 2 additions are better than season 1's.

Really don't see how it fits with ED? FD must have had a dev who had experience in first person shooter games and nothing to do!

Yep, I am +3 GMT at the moment, I find 7pm UK time onwards is a non issue for finding matches. If I tried to log in right now I'd be waiting for ages.

That's why we're putting a timed event in the diary so we can try and saturate it with a few more commanders at the same time..... Feel free to pass on the invitation to anyone else available from 20:30gmt Thursday. If it works, we might try and make a regular night out of it.

We really need a chat window in the lobby so people can banter and plead each other to stay.

Also a server browser for goodness sake.

Been arguing for bot inclusion previously myself. I'd be happy if that meant matches weren't ranked. But it also needs the ability to set up private matches (again, even if that means they're unranked).

Damn bro, and I though I played a lot, lol. But anyway I almost never have trouble finding matches unless I'm playing really late at night (GMT - 9 here). I think the most likely problem for people who've Never been able to find a match is your router settings. I'm not a network guy and I don't remember the specific way to do it, but some routers need to have settings fixed before it'll work on a p2p network.
