Do you mean that someone tried the hyperspace jump for the first time in game and it sucked all the electric energy in a 120 km radius of the city around them causing a blackout ? :eek:

Imperials dont want their territory map data released to the public of the federation so they sent secret time-traveller agent to 2014 cambridge, uk, Earth, Sol, milky way, sector[0][0][0](you got it) to shut down the project, according to their sources it's very deadly or dangerous(sources are unclear). But the federation wont let it happen. Actually some Alliance agent which would prefer to preserve the status quo in the galaxy attempted to bring back power. They may not like the federation but it's not worse than the empire, or to face only one of the two not being balanced by the other.

If previous alpha releases are to go by i say alpha 4.0 is due 10pm Friday 20 of april. UK timezone.

Upsy my bad , thats my reward for not dobble Control it whit my calendar so 25 of april :p or before all the holydays so alphans can play it during the long weekend 16 of april but that migth be tad optimistick.

I keep loading up the launcher and hoping that when I click Log In, it will say Upgrade.

I've so far developed an involuntary facial twitch every time it just says Play.

Clearly it needs to be this weekend so we can entice more Alpha level backers into the fold...

I just want it to be now so I can stop coming and refreshing the forums to see if it's released... I'd save so much time in a day... :D

I don't think them releasing Alpha 4 now would help in this regard.

Unless you mean time wasted NOT playing it! :D

Last week it was said we will know release date of alpha 4 and content "shortly". So I hope before Easter :)

I think 2nd May sounds believable, all things considered.

This would be the correct date. If we look at what is written in the new store :
"The final phase, which adds Travel and Trading in a 200 cubic light year volume of the Milky Way, is to be released in May. Once the Alpha phase is completed, Premium Beta kicks off the beta stages with all Alpha members getting early access."

The premium beta with early access for the players of alpha, starting 15 days before the full premium beta on May 30th. Alpha 4.0 will last 15 days approximately
