Sag A* photo and vid shoot, First off, many thanks to the Cmdr`s that tried to help me get into the instance for this, of which Cmdr Jaredd finally managed to get me in, saying at the time there were "98, two more for the 100", while taking this one pic as I joined the fleet, my screen froze for a few seconds, and after taking so long to get in, I wasn`t going anywhere near F10 again lol, and def no filming going on, jump out, so many ships, so close, was an awesome sight

and thanks again to Cmdr Jaredd, nice one my friend o7

There were a few hairy moments in the middle of the melee when people jumped in THROUGH the fleet. I had an Asp fly between me and the 'conda to my right. It's a good thing the chat channel was push to talk is all I'm saying.

Oh, and leaving the waypoint - a few of us jumped together and a conda high-waked so close to me it actually blipped my shields as it went past! Thank you push to talk again :D

Thanks for the kind tip, CMDR, I'll start jum...hey wait a minute!

Sorry if that offended you...I really meant that I was the "Billy-No-Mates", not you...I'm all alone out here! DW has passed me by.

My next goal in life is WP09! One day, I'll be in an instance with more Cmdrs than just me!

Fly safe, Cmdr o7

As an additional point, today was the first time I visited Sagittarius A* since the original time, after a gap of nearly 15 months. I never thought I'd be there again, but I'm glad I was.
She looks so much more beautiful than the last time.

I also want to thank everyone for being there. It was really heartwarming to see everyone lined up and saluting me there too (even though I thought they were saluting the Corvette that appeared :p). <3

That vid was awesome and may actually be the coolest thing I've seen in ED!

So sad I missed the meet up. I'm one of those unfortunate souls that works Sundays til quite late :(

Augh I overslept and missed the rendezvous. :(

hopefully we'll do this again jumping into the abyss.

Still, I suffered the "SRV-falls-through-planet-bug." So after a quick ticket I was teleported back to Sol and have restocked on SRVs. I'm awaiting being poofed back to the core so I can keep up with you people.

We salute you indeed sir. One of the Giants in whose shoes we all follow.

Bit of roleplay news-reading here:

There were reports today from Sol that claim to have seen a bright series of lights briefly flashing in the night sky akin to bolts of lightning.
Early investigations point to a frame shift rift in space caused by the huge electromagnetic energy resulting from the simultaneous charging of well over 50 frame shift drives at Sagittarius A*.
System security condemn the act as dangerous but were quick to point out that the actions of these CMDRs were well outside their jurisdiction.

From the frontier messages were relayed that the frame shift drive rift caused many of the CMDRs to be temporarily stuck in hyperspace with some disappearing for hours before re-appearing at the other side. Speculation has begun around the Antares and Starship One incidents with some observers asking if we truly understand the effects of multiple frame shift drives in close proximity. Scientists are now investigating the possibility of a Hyperspace collision which was previously thought impossible due to the vast 3 dimensional space that we occupy.

Fly safe CMDRs.

Edit: I suppose in reality the action would have to be supernova size to be seen on Earth. Also it'd take 25,000 Years before the light reached Earth and the news got the story. About normal right? :p

If seen from Sol, that must be the news of 21st Feb of 29202 :)
