PTU is going as intended

This is exactly what makes me like SC much, the focus on variety of gameplay and to give both depth and reward to those different paths, there was like a photo taken on a billboard that shows a bit of how they're rolling out systems in terms of missions, things that go on AI's side, stuff like that: http://i.imgur.com/N5aTmMk.jpg
So there is still no persistence implemented nor any relevant content expansions in 2.2, but the only thing you could really do in the tech demo (PvP) now results in being kicked from the server? Indeed hilarious! Thanks zecumbe! I think it will be hilarious to watch how these anti-griefing mechanics play out (and possibly backfire)
I find the idea on how to treat criminals pedantic.
Changes show some improvements in general though.
Still don't feel like I want to play it since I'll probably spend more time downloading it than actually playing it.
Be interesting to see how that stuff pans out - and if it appears to have any influence on FD and criminality.
The timeout is pretty much a place-holder.
But, over that, there is plans for prisons on the game. I mean, there is actual ships that do have prison cells to lock other players up, so let's see!
That really depends on how they implement it. It's really easy to get it wrong.
Archeage has a court/prison system and even though it's a cool concept, it's pretty bad gameplay wise imo.
What makes this more amusing is that those "goons" now dictate CIG's development priorities and gameplay mechanics, instead of Chris Roberts' own plans and promises to backers. If you want to grief Port Olisar like the goons did recently
