[Distant Worlds] Python Pylots - Paintjobs?

Sorry I got called away - unfortunately the 6pm and 7pm meetup times at the waypoints are rather inconvenient for me. :)
Here's my pic from earlier:

I can't get over the sky in this place.

Im really sorry guys...

.. but i really do have to change the color of my Python.

Since i heard just now about sad news of David Bowies passing and he being my childhood idol, im going to change my ships color to black and rename her as Blackstar.

:(

EDIT: Nevermind, theres no black paintjob for Python, so ill stick with the Tactical Ice. :D

Tactical graphite?

I really don't know why they couldn't have every paint scheme for every type of ship. I would think it would only take a bit of changing to get them to fit all the ships.

I dont understand. Why CMDR Eryn Liamson's Python is much more dirty looking than mine? Same ship, same color, same distance flown?
What makes the most difference? Landings?

Eryn on the left, im on the right. Bad angle i know, but you still can clearly see how much dirtier Eryns Python is compared to mine.

I believe it's the distance flown in supercruise, and possibly whether you have shields up or not.
(I remember people experimenting with it, but that was a long time ago so perhaps it has changed since then.)

Here's the current condition of the Whitespace II:

Yeah, time in supercruise used to be the deciding factor for wear & tear. Maybe Horizons added some others, at least the ship sounds like the glide phase is rather stressful. :)

Any Pythoneers up at Altum Sag this weekend?

Dear fellow Python Distant Worlders,

last time I checked, there were only five of us, and last time I checked, at least two of us had the same Tactical Ice paintjob. Yeah, it's pretty, I know, but we're not flying Anacondas - we actually have a chance to be recognizable on screenshots.

Thus I humbly propose to make our ships identifiable by color, and I would be willing to switch to something else than white. Anyone else? :)

I think at the end your idea will become a reality. We left the bubble with Pythons of various colours but as it seems by the time we arrive at BP they all will be 50 shades of dirty dark green :D

...yes - i plan to be online this weekend at Sag A

Or, in my case, rusty red. :)

Maybe a Record: 3 Tactical White Pythons at WP11

Was in a hurry so couldnt make a good Screenshot and i also play with decreased quality, because on landable planets i got bad FPS. But hey, its 3 white pythons anyway, so here is the photo :)

it shows Henkka77s, Erics (or Erin, sorry i forgot his name) and my Python (and an Anaconda flown by a guy with a norselike name)

EDIT: the 2nd must be Eryn Liamson

Nice! :)

We got two more Pythons in another instance. Shame we were unable to get them all in one place. Should try to organize this for the next WP.

I'm making my way towards WP13; I've been blazing my own trail(TM) the last few days so I'm skipping the high waypoint. I've covered 20 Kylies since leaving Sadge spinning around between supergiants and I'm weary of jumping... :)

I've spent most of the last three days driving an SRV, I'm tired of that and beginning to miss jumping. :)

I counted at least 5 Pythons (2 white, 1 black, 1 red, 1 blue) at Sadge today. I know of Eryn Larsson, Pirin, Henka77 & myself, whom did I miss? (No good screenshot with all of them found yet.)

Its quite funny that theres only so few Python pilots on this travel and still we cant get a decent group shot of all most active Pythonists.
Most active meaning

- Yours truly
- Pirin
- DoubtOutLoud
- Jackie Silver
- Erym Liamson
- Caldeon
- someone i missed?

How about it gents? We have to get this done at least at Beagle Point... :D

Yeah, sorry about that, but I've been heading straight for the Ronceveaux Crossing since WP13. I plan, however, to reach Beagle Point on April 3 and will stay there for at least a week, and I'll be at home for most of the time. We could set up a number of potential dates for a Pied Pythons meet-up.
